Powder Coated Velodrome Safety Balustrades

Pipe clamp fittings used with DDA Assist handrailing and mesh panelling to construct pedestrian barriers surrounding this velodrome.

Outer barriers and handrailing were powder-coated black as per customer request to suit specific project specifications. Inner safety posts and tube were hot-dipped galvanised, with the fittings receiving a double coating as standard for enhanced corrosion protection. Mesh panelling ensured segregation between spectators and cyclists.

Smooth in-line continuous handrailing has been installed both in and outside of the track, providing stability for cyclists and safety for viewers. DDA Assist handrailing has also been utilised with a non-interclamp gate, demonstrating the compatibility and multitudes of users Interclamps have to offer.
