Interclamp GRP Electrical Substation Handrails

Interclamp GRP fittings and tube were used to install the safety barriers and handrails at this electrical substation near Manchester.

The GRP range features low electrical conductivity for installations in close proximity to electrical installations, therefore was a perfect choice for this project. Additionally, the range is fire retardant and chemically resistant, ensuring the installation is protected in this demanding environment. 

The safety posts have been finished in Interclamp Safety Yellow, for high visibility to increase safety and danger awareness. Requires no painting, reducing maintenance. Fittings can be powder coated to suit project colour requirements.

GRP is also UV resistant and non-corroding, for a long product service.
